Hey Babes! The holiday season is upon us, which means it’s time for Christmas music! Personally, I start blasting Christmas tunes in October—well, maybe even all year long.

It’s never too early to get into the spirit, and there’s something about Christmas music that really sets the tone, you know? Anyway, let’s dive into some of my favorite songs on my Christmas playlist!

Starting off strong with one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time, “Silent Night“. There are several different versions of “Silent Night” that I love. One of my favorites is the iconic rendition by The Temptations. Once you hear it playing, you know that Santa is coming to town soon! I’ve also fallen in love with Tori Kelly’s version of “Silent Night.” It has a warm and soulful quality that really sets the tone for the holiday season!

“Oh Holy Night” is another one of my favorite classic Christmas songs! There are several different versions of this song as well. Some of my favorites are by artists like Tori Kelly, Sabrina Claudio, Christina Aguilera, and Celine Dion. It’s such a beautiful song that I always need to hear during the Christmas season.

Moving on to the next top favorite on my Christmas playlist: “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” by The Jackson 5. There’s something about young Michael’s voice that feels so nostalgic and really gets me excited for the season. I’m actually going to turn that on right now! It never gets old!

I have a mix of both new school and old school Christmas songs on my playlist. For example, I have Brenda Lee’s version of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” as well as the Hannah Montana version from my childhood, which I was obsessed with! I also have several renditions of “Let It Snow,” including one by the talented Michael Bublé, a version by Boyz II Men, and another featuring Tori Kelly and Babyface. As you can tell, I never limit myself to just one version of a Christmas song. I love hearing the different melodies, instruments, and unique flavors that each artist brings to their interpretation.

“When we sing Christmas songs, we’re really just echoing heaven’s joy.”

There’s just something special about Christmas music that makes everything feel a bit cozier, isn’t there? That’s probably why I like to listen to it all year long! It truly has a magical way of connecting me to God, especially during the holidays. When life gets hectic with shopping and busy schedules, a simple carol can really bring back that sense of peace and purpose. These joyful tunes fill my home with warmth and fill my heart with worship!

One song that always brings me closer to Jesus and often brings me to tears is “Mary, Did You Know?”—especially the version by Maverick City Music. Every time I listen to it, I feel so moved. There’s a line that says, “He is the Great I Am,” and it really strikes a chord with me.

It’s so easy to get caught up in all the holiday hustle and bustle, but we need to take a moment to remember the greatest gift of all: Jesus! Just think about what Mary went through and the amazing plans God had for her. She had no idea she was carrying Jesus Christ! This song really reminds me of how special all of this is. At the end Lizzie sings, “Glory is to come…if you just hold on.” Be sure to really listen to and absorb that line.

“Through Mary’s obedience came our redemption, a quiet yes that changed eternity.”

Of course, I had to include some fun ones! “Santa Tell Me” by Ariana Grande is forever on repeat — it’s flirty, festive, and gives that pink-lip-gloss energy I love. And “Jingle Bell Rock”? Total must-have. It’s impossible to listen without doing a little dance in the kitchen while wrapping gifts. Then there are the timeless ones — songs that just feel like Christmas. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “The Christmas Song” make everything feel warmer, even if it’s just a chill night at home with cocoa and fuzzy socks.

I also added a few versions of “Hallelujah” because it’s one of those songs that reaches your soul every single time. No matter who’s singing it, the message stays powerful — a reminder of peace, hope, and God’s unshakable love. It’s my go-to when I want a quiet, worshipful moment in the middle of all the Christmas chaos.

There’s something about Christmas music that doesn’t just fill a room with sound — it fills it with memory, warmth, and feeling. A certain melody can transport me back to my childhood, a quiet night by the tree, or the first snow of the season, while another instantly sparks energy and excitement, making the holiday feel like a movie scene. For me, these songs aren’t just background noise; they set the tone for reflection, celebration, and connection with loved ones. They make decorating, gift-wrapping, and even running errands feel special, turning ordinary moments into tiny celebrations. And because I love variety, mixing soulful versions, pop hits, and classic carols keeps the season feeling both nostalgic and fresh — it’s the perfect soundtrack for a December that’s cozy, joyful, and full of grace.

Jesus is the reason for the season.

So whether you’re getting ready for a holiday party, decorating your tree, or just driving around looking at lights, this playlist has a little something for every mood. From faith-filled harmonies to songs that make you feel fabulous, it’s my way of spreading Christmas cheer and grace through music. 🎶✨
